Who we are and agreeing to these terms

This website is run by Palatine Labs, LLC, a company registered in Virginia, United States ("Palatine Labs", "we", "us"). By using the website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Using our website

You may browse the website and join the waitlist for your own, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• use the website for anything unlawful;
• try to gain access to parts of the website or its systems you are not meant to reach, or test them for weaknesses without our written permission;
• interfere with the website's operation, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code;
• collect content or information from the website by automated means, other than search engines indexing it;
• sign up anyone else to the waitlist without their permission, or give a false name or email address.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist means we will email you when early access opens. It does not guarantee access to any app, on any date. You can leave at any time. How we handle your name and email address is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Our content, name and logo

The text, design, graphics and logo on this website belong to Palatine Labs or are used with permission. The name "Palatine Labs" and our logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected to you or your products. You may link to the website and share its pages, but please do not copy or republish its content without asking us.

Ideas and feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything, and we will not treat them as confidential. Please do not send anything you want to keep private or own.

Links to other websites

Our website links to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Our apps

We have not released an app yet. Each app will have its own terms, shown before you use it. Apps downloaded from Apple's App Store are also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless we provide our own.

No warranties

The website is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be available, accurate, complete or free of errors or harmful components, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Information on the website about products in development may change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Palatine Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the website. Our total liability to you for any claim about the website is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Your responsibility

If you break these terms or the law while using the website, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that claim causes us.

Ending access

We may suspend or end anyone's access to the website, or change or close the website, at any time. Sections of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers and limits on liability, continue after that.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and add an entry below. If a change is significant, we will say so on the website before it takes effect. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
